Learning Lab #30
We often say that in our work we acknowledge the 'whole person'.
If that's true, how might we work with a person's spiritual dimension?
Many people acknowledge a spiritual dimension to their life, whether or not this is connected to a formal faith practice. Yet most management models focus on behaviour, values, even identity, with very few referencing any explicit spirituality within a work life.
A growing body of research is concerned with what are often thought of as traditional aspects of spirituality like forgiveness, gratitude and awe.
How can we work with spirituality? It's sometimes more to the fore, and sometimes less so, but it can be important to know it's there.
