How can shifting perspective help us lead and develop others more effectively?
In times of uncertainty and division, it’s easy to retreat into what we know - to rely on assumptions, stereotypes or bias. But when we step into someone else’s shoes, something powerful happens. We grow empathy, uncover insight and create connection.
In this Learning Lab, coach and facilitator Ben Nathan leads a shortened version of his interactive Common Ground workshop. Drawing on his own journey - from his upbringing in a pro-Israel, Zionist family to creating a verbatim play based on Palestinian and Israeli interviews - Ben invites us to step beyond the echo chamber and engage with difference in a new way.
What to Expect:
We’ll explore how unconscious bias plays out, reflect on how wider social narratives affect our work and learn how critical thinking can foster stronger, more trusting teams. Through dialogue, reflection and shared insight, you’ll leave with practical ideas for challenging bias and a renewed sense of what it means to find common ground - as a coach, leader or change agent.
