Learning Lab: Unconscious Bias

Learning Labs
January 24, 2019

Learning Lab #1

Most organisations know diversity provides real benefits.

People from different backgrounds see problems and solutions from different perspectives.

Really, it’s true inclusion that’s the vital ingredient which allows everyone to innovate and thrive.

As society becomes more diverse, organisations get smarter about the impact of unconscious bias and associated barriers to inclusion. Unconscious bias exists in everyone. It affects the way we recruit, maintain and develop talent.

A greater awareness of our biases and the biases of others enables people to contribute their full potential.

- This session was designed by Sarah Cartwright and Shona Crooks.
