“As the Inclusion conversation shifts, how can we stay true to our values?”
Embracing difference remains central to the services that we offer - as it does for so many of the clients we work with. Yet, in recent months we have heard loud, sometimes even aggressive, calls to dismantle policies promoting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. As inclusive leaders, coaches, and development professionals, how do we reinvigorate DEI in a much more questioning climate?
In this month's Learning Lab, we are going to create a welcoming, creative and respectful online space. We'll use it to explore how Inclusion evolves, and how we can actively support that evolution.
Some of the questions we will investigate are:
- What pressures and trends are we noticing?
- How do we work with stakeholder anxiety?
- How can inclusion remain relevant?
- When others seem to be turning away from inclusion, what do we do?
What to Expect:
This will be an opportunity to share thoughts, ideas, plans and perspectives. Our aim is come together to sustain positive and inclusive outcomes. We'll be mindful and respectful of different opinions, needs and contexts. There'll be a mix of insight, activity and conversation with peers. There'll be resources to reflect on and take-away to use in your own setting.
