Most change doesn’t come out of nowhere.
The early signals are usually there, but we’re often either too busy to notice them or we ignore them because we don’t know what to do.
By the time the need for change becomes undeniable, it is often too late.
This session is about seeing earlier, seeing clearer and responding effectively.
What We’ll Explore
- Two types of problem: technical and adaptive. How we need to treat each problem type differently.
- Three strategies for surfacing the need for change early
- Looking for consistent performance gaps, despite sustained effort,
- Scanning the environment,
- Stress testing our strategy with assumption based planning
- Why we sometimes fail to act, and steps to take when we don’t know what to do.
