New Paper

Leading Cultural Change

What are the daily leadership behaviours that keep cultures healthy and evolving?

Essential reading for cultural leaders

Cultural Leadership is the super enabler amongst the four enablers of high performing healthy cultures identified by Dr Edd vahid in his previous paper A Cultural Hypothesis. This new paper is a deep dive exploring the differing roles of culture sponsors, architects and guardians in sustaining and evolving culture. It addresses key questions about how we motivate and equip people to own their role in cultural leadership.

“This paper matters because an organisational culture matters. Culture can become a competitive advantage or the most expensive liability. It is shaped quietly and continuously by those with the most power to influence it. Our hope is that the paper raises and sharpens understanding and strengthens leadership practice.”
