How do we work with a client's Identity to enable transformational change that lasts?
As coaches we are privileged to stand by the side of our clients. We help them explore their own context and facilitate them moving towards what they want. We believe they already have the answers and resources for change within them. Yet, they aren't always inclined to agree with us! Often they see only what's missing - the things they lack - or they see what they perceive to be huge barriers standing in their way. Our job is to dismantle their limiting beliefs, flip their lens on themselves and unlock resources from within.
By tuning a client in to who they are at their best, we help them get clear on their Identity. We help them live and breathe that version of themself.
What to Expect
In this Learning Lab, Nicola Ellwood will demonstrate how - as a Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) - she applies one of her favourite models: Robert Dilts’s 'Logical Levels of Change'. Nicola will convey the practical use of it through stories, anecdotes, demonstrations and practical breakouts. NLP is full of transformation techniques that we can use in a client-centred way to unlock better deeper and more meaningful changes, faster. As the NLP presupposition goes – ‘change can be fast and easy’. Whatever level of experience you have in coaching or NLP, we will leave you with new contexts for practice that are in the service of your client's best outcomes.
Our Facilitator
Nicola Ellwood (MSc ANLP FMAC) has been a people developer her whole career and a Master Coach for the last 10 years (MSc Executive Personal and Corporate Coaching). She is a double (soon to be triple) Master Practitioner and Certified trainer in NLP. She coaches executive leaders globally and works with nationally representing and professional athletes in many disciplines. A coach through and through, Nicola enjoys the academic but prefers the playful, the reality and the exploration of approaches, models and tools. She particularly likes exploring their edges to see what they unlock. She is innately practical, loves to get stuck in through conversation with her clients, and helps those she trains and mentors to do that too.
