Coaching
"With your help I have been
able to tackle a whole range of issues – strategy,
staffing and structure. Not only that but you helped
me work out how I was feeling about them. Terrific stuff!
Every senior manager should have this."
– Chief Executive, Hospital Trust.
The quality of an organisation’s leadership
determines its success.
To some extent leaders are born, but
to a greater extent they are made. We help you make
leaders.
But all leaders need support. However
good they are, any leader will benefit from coaching.
In the first ever comprehensive survey
of the effectiveness of coaching, carried out by the
US-based International Coach Federation, 98.5 per cent
of respondents said their coaching was valuable to them.
Of those, 70 per cent said it was very valuable.
A Management Futures executive coach
is an entirely objective appraiser who can give a client
an accurate, holistic assessment of their performance
at work, the quality of their life at home and whether
the two are in balance. (Click on People
for profiles of our coaches.)
We work with chief executives, directors,
and senior managers to help them perform better.
Coaching promotes change. It will:
- Get better performance out of already effective
people
- Help new managers start with confidence
- Get experienced people through a particular problem
- Help managers become more effective in specific
ways
Coaching is confidential. You won’t know
our assessment of the person you have sent to us –
but you will notice the improvement in their performance.
Methods
Depending on which is most appropriate,
we use a range of psychometric instruments – click
the link left for more on them – and 360 degree
feedback, a technique which involves an employee’s supervisor,
peers, reporting staff members, colleagues and customers
in delivering a fully-rounded appraisal of them and
their performance.
