Phil is a pragmatist who brings experience of Management from the tough domain of inner city Social Services where he practiced as a qualified Social Worker and Manager for a decade. He holds a MA in Management Learning from the University of Lancaster and is on the Board of Management Futures Ltd and Coaching Futures Ltd.

Highly skilled as a Facilitator and Consultant, Phil has successfully led many public sector organisations through significant change. He is an excellent performer who can handle large-scale occasions as part of culture change as well as working patiently over a long period in partnership with clients.

Recent projects include the merger of BBC journalism and technical resources outside London, the setting up of a new £180m Local Authority Division in Hertfordshire and the birthing of a major Design and Internet organisation.

He is a skilled Coach who is presently working with sixteen NHS Chief Executives and leading figures in other industries. He enjoys training new coaches and is currently running coaching skills courses for senior military officers, Brathay College, a pharmaceutical company, the NHS Leadership Centre and local authorities.
