Hilary Briggs
- Extensive Management Experience
- Consultant and Coach in Creative Thinking
- An Excellent Facilitator
Unusually for a coach, Hilary was trained originally in chartered
engineering, and became the managing director of a car manufacturing
company based in Germany with 4,000 employees worldwide. Before
that she was one of the top 200 managers in the Rover Group,
where she worked for ten years.
On leaving her role as managing director, Hilary returned
to Cambridge and became Senior Industrial Research Fellow
in the Centre for International Manufacturing. Her duties
there included the development events for Rolls Royce and
Simoco Europe.
Now at Management Futures, Hilary is a consultant and coach
and has led a number of events for the BBC aimed at building
teams to enable them to become more creative. She uses some
of the techniques developed by Nancy Kline in her work on
the Thinking Environment.
Hilary has great curiosity and openness to view situations
from a range of different perspectives, which enables her
to be an excellent coach and facilitator.
