Coaching for Self-employment or Business Start-ups

Tony Betts, an ex-advertising and marketing practitioner, is a coach on self-employment and small business start-ups for Management Futures. Tony has started fourteen of his own companies and was an advisor to the Small Business Development Corporation. He will help you identify the key questions you should be considering.

Through a series of penetrating, practical questions Tony will demystify the business start-up process and help you to decide if this rewarding, but potentially risky route is for you. He will help you to minimize the risks and identify a key list of research points, actions and essential questions you need to think about.

“In the final analysis businesses are about money and cash flow. Enthusiasm, bright ideas, innovation, creativity, passion for customers all help, but a failure to understand the pragmatic side of managing money and the emotions has seen more savings lost in good ideas than you can imagine.”

Tony is a pragmatic coach whose extensive global business experience has given him a unique and practical insight into what works, and how and why businesses succeed or fail.

By the end of your four/six sessions you will have a firm idea as to whether this is the route for you, how to go about it, what to watch out for, as well as a list of valuable resources and research techniques that could take you years to learn for yourself.
