Team Coaching programmes
This year we are offerring two programmes:
Team Coaching
Helping Teams To Become Greater Than The Sum Of Their Parts
As never before, teams are responsible for creating organisational success. An effective team can be an awesome and inspiring entity, capable of achieving enormous success and creating a sense of pride and enhancement for its members. But a failing team can mean a failing organisation and, at an individual level, failed reputations and careers.
Perhaps you already facilitate occasional team development days or away days. You may experience the satisfaction of helping teams to tackle their issues and make progress on their development. But you may also experience the ‘burn bright and fade fast’ syndrome that these events so often create – and the disappointment and disillusionment the team members can experience when they slide back into bad habits or start to create new blockages to their effectiveness.
The fact is that teams normally need more than a one-off event to build and sustain effectiveness. Just as individual leaders and managers are known to benefit from a sustained period of coaching, teams need to invest in themselves in order to reach their full performance potential.
How we work on this course:
The whole ethos of the course will be about open dialogue: it will be a safe and supportive place to learn, and at times an exhilarating and challenging one.
Much of the course will be about introducing you to practical ideas, techniques and tools with the opportunity to practise their use. We will also work with the live interaction of our group as a means of building understanding around team dynamics. On the last day of the course we will give you the opportunity to work with a ‘live’ client – a real manager who will be looking for ideas from you about developing the team.

Coaching For Managers
Coaching is now so widely used as a development process that more than 80% of British companies embrace it in some form. The reason for this rapid growth is simple – coaching works. The 2009 CIPD survey confirms that coaching ranks as the most highly-rated development activity in the UK.
This course will give managers a comprehensive grounding in the coaching skills that they can use flexibly “on the job”. You will gain confidence and assurance because the skills you learn are grounded in best practice set to internationally recognised standards.
The ability to coach skilfully is now a core management and leadership competency: this course will ensure that you are ready
Coaching for Managers is for you if:
- You are in a managerial role and need to develop your staff
- You want to learn proven techniques for enhancing staff performance and levels of job satisfaction
- Your organisation is developing a coaching culture
