Kate Hudson

Kate is an experienced, international organisational development consultant who has over 15 years' experience working with teams and individuals. She coaches senior executives in the public and private sectors both in the UK and overseas, helping them navigate the turbulent changes in their work.

Kate works with senior executives whose issues typically include building their own and others capacity in their organisations, focusing and increasing their productivity, building and maintaining important internal and external relationships.

• A Consul General going to a new post and seeking help with thinking through a major restructuring project.
• A British Ambassador seeking to motivate and energise his staff at a time of considerable change.
• A Senior HR manager of a large construction firm looking for challenge and support to her strategic thinking and help with getting recognition for projects she’s leading.
• A Local Authority solicitor looking to develop her confidence in a new senior position in which leadership skills are as important as her legal expertise. 

Experience

Kate worked for the British Council for many years.  She has provided consultancy to the British Council both corporately and for individual countries in a variety of assignments concerned with the management of change.  She is currently working with IT professionals in the British Council to help them work more effectively with their internal clients operating overseas, to be more customer-focused and to develop a wider, more corporate perspective.

She is currently coaching six British Ambassadors and is working on long-term international assignments for UNICEF and ABN AMRO.

Other information

Kate trains and supervises coaches working towards post-graduate level accreditation through the Institute of Leadership and Management.   She is also a founding member and assessor for the Association of Professional Executive Coaches (APECS).

She has a Masters in Management Learning, a Diploma in Coaching and is licensed in the use of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and FIRO-B.
