Products for coaches

  • Coaches need to keep in touch with changes in practice
  • Supervision will become mandatory and is now advisable
  • Coaches need contact with other coached to avoid isolation
  • Coaches need a professional development plan

As practising experienced coaches we have designed products which we like, want and need and are constantly updating our approaches.
This is what’s available for 2008:

Advanced Practitioner Network

Introduced in 2007 to provide experienced coaches with a range of new ideas and theories and a network into which to tap. These afternoon sessions (usually Thursdays at the end of the month) have input from visiting speakers, lively discussion and drinks at 5p.m. Subjects to be announced shortly.   Feedback on what you would like as a subject ( or offers to lead a session) to Jan Campbell.

Supervision Packages

Coaches need supervision and increasingly corporate clients are making evidence of regular supervision part of their quality assurance process. A supervisor is a more experienced coach who

  • Helps you benchmark your practice against the best
  • Works through ethical dilemmas with you
  • Can coach you on your own life and career issues

An annual package of 5 hours supervision with one of our faculty of experienced executive coaches. The time can be called off to suit your needs in 30 minute slots on the phone or one hour face to face.
Fees £1250 plus VAT for total of five hours

Training in supervision

This coaching supervisor programme includes a two day workshop that provides a foundation in coaching supervision plus two half days working in a supervision group in which to develop your skills. Coaching supervision draws on the best practice of psychotherapy and counselling supervision and places it within a coaching orientation. As such it upholds the principles of coaching and mentoring and the coaching relationship. The programme is an endorsed award with the ILM.

The coaching supervisor

  • Coaches the coach on their coaching
  • Mentors the coach on their development in the profession
  • Acts as an advocate for the coach’s clients
  • Brings a perspective about the quality of the coaching practice.

Facilitated by Julia Vaughan Smith and Jan Campbell Young who both work as coaches and supervisors of coaches.
